British Invasion

Hello again. Another update in my quest for an integrated. I have been reading quite a bit about amplifiers made by British company Rega. In particular their Mira 3 integrated amplifier. It is not as artistic and quirky as the Blue Circle, but it definitely has some pluses. It is well regarded, plus it has a built in phono stage. I do not have a turntable at the moment, but I would like the flexibility to add one in the future. Plus there is a Rega dealer near me, so I can go and listen to the amp before making my decision. I have never listened to a Rega amp, but I have listened to one of their CD players, the Apollo I believe, and I liked it quite a bit. Plus I have read that people have had success pairing the Mira with other speakers from Totem.

All this put together makes the Mira sound like a very intriguing option. It is definitely going on my short list.
