The State of the Something

Again I am a little late on this, but I recently found an article talking about music sales in the United States in 2005 vs 2004. Some really interesting numbers, I think. The most interesting I found was that vinyl outsold both SACD and DVD-A put together. Actually vinyl sold over 6 times as many units as both hi-res formats put together! I knew that the hi-res formats were not big hits, but wow, I thought they sold more than they did. Anyway, you can find the full article here, check it out.
